Job description
Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and customer-centric Move Coordinator to join our Canberra team at Sirva's Hume branch. In this role, you will facilitate the relocation of household goods for both domestic and international customers, ensuring a smooth transition through effective coordination and exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize packing, transportation, storage, and delivery of household items and personal belongings.
- Collaborate with customers, clients, removal partners, and third-party service providers to guarantee flawless service milestones.
- Track and supervise moves until their final completion.
- Coordinate travel, transport, and lodging arrangements as necessary.
- Manage all client documentation and maintain precise relocation records.
- Maintain proactive communication by providing regular move status updates.
- Follow up with internal teams and external suppliers for quotes, documents, and progress reports.
- Identify customer requirements and take necessary actions to exceed service expectations.
- Adhere to service-level KPIs and pursue high customer satisfaction consistently.
- Collaborate with fellow coordinators to achieve shared objectives and outstanding customer results.
Candidate Profile
- Background in customer service, administration, logistics, relocation, or coordination roles.
- Experience in service-oriented roles such as travel, hospitality, reception, or administration highly valued.
- Prior exposure to household goods moving, international relocation, mobility services, or government assignments is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Proven ability to deliver superior customer service and maintain strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organizational and administrative capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Display proactiveness in resolving problems and managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Confident and clear communication with diverse customers and stakeholders.
- Positive demeanor, self-initiative, and a strong team collaboration mindset.
