Mobile Cleaner II

Become part of a team focused on maintaining clean, safe, and efficiently functioning commercial and industrial facilities. We are looking for a Mobile Cleaner II who thrives in dynamic settings, enjoys independent work, and manages specialized cleaning assignments across various locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing offices, common areas, and meeting rooms.
• Maintain washroom hygiene by cleaning, restocking supplies, and ensuring sanitation standards.
• Dispose of waste and recycling responsibly and clean interior glass and entrance areas.
• Conduct exterior litter removal and upkeep of surrounding areas.
• Handle specialized cleaning tasks such as deep carpet and upholstery cleaning, floor surface treatments, and operating equipment like auto scrubbers and carpet extractors.
• Perform floor refinishing, polishing, pressure washing, and detailed high-level dusting.
• Respond to emergency cleaning situations including spills, leaks, flooding, and contamination.
• Remove snow and ice hazards from walkways when necessary.
• Conduct quality checks, record work completion, inspect sites, and report maintenance issues.
• Assist with installation and repair of washroom dispensers and manage logistics of cleaning equipment and materials between locations.
• Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental guidelines to ensure safe working conditions.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum three years of experience in commercial, industrial, or institutional cleaning.
• Skilled in using professional cleaning machinery and knowledgeable about proper cleaning techniques and safety standards, including WHMIS.
• Self-driven, dependable, and attentive to detail.
• Excellent communication with a customer-centered approach.
• Proficient with smartphones, tablets, and digital reporting tools.
• Positive, safety-conscious mindset and effective team player.

Work Conditions & Requirements

• May work day, evening, or night shifts and be available for on-call emergency responses.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 35 lbs and frequently standing, walking, bending, and repetitive motions.
• Travel between multiple client sites within the service area is required.
• Must hold a valid driver's license, maintain a clean driving record, and have reliable transportation.
• Ability to wear necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).

Additional Information

This is a full-time position offering an annual salary range of $46,476 to $52,000, commensurate with skills, experience, and education. The role includes chances to expand technical knowledge and contribute directly to creating safe and welcoming environments for clients and their employees.
