Position Summary
We are looking to engage a top-tier M&A Deal Originator for our U.S. advisory team on a remote contract basis. This role focuses on generating and managing deal flow independently, leveraging an existing active pipeline of transactions. The individual will act as the primary initiator of new mandates, carry out preliminary due diligence, and maintain direct engagement with senior executives, collaborating with execution teams to close deals efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize established networks to identify and originate new merger and acquisition opportunities.
- Perform initial due diligence and financial analysis on prospective deals.
- Maintain ongoing communication and relationship management with C-suite clients.
- Coordinate closely with execution teams to oversee transaction progression towards closure.
- Conduct proactive market research to uncover new prospective mandates.
Required Qualifications
- Proven success in originating M&A transactions with a current, demonstrable deal pipeline within the U.S. market.
- Entrepreneurial spirit coupled with a hunter mindset and strong self-drive.
- Robust financial analysis and due diligence skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, and investment banking.
- Excellent negotiation capabilities and effective communication with senior leadership.
- Ability to operate autonomously in a remote work arrangement, independently managing deal flow.
- Prior background in investment banking, corporate finance, or middle-market M&A is strongly preferred.
