About the Role
Our client is a rapidly expanding UK and European membership club focused on sports and business networking, live entertainment, and fostering genuine communities. Members engage through regular meetups, networking events, and VIP access to premier sporting events with renowned sports personalities. The club offers exclusive deals with top brands and operates on the principle that sport unites people, igniting conversations and fostering valuable business connections. The UAE branch will align with the social sporting calendar in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and execute strategies to attract, engage, and keep members.
- Oversee the entire membership journey from recruitment to onboarding, renewals, and retention.
- Keep detailed membership databases up to date.
- Offer prompt and outstanding customer service to members.
- Analyze trends in membership to prepare regular reports on growth and engagement.
- Craft member-focused communications such as newsletters and promotional content.
- Explore ways to improve member benefits to increase value.
- Plan and manage a variety of events including in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats.
- Develop event schedules, budgets, and detailed project plans.
- Secure venues and manage relationships with suppliers, speakers, and exhibitors.
- Coordinate marketing efforts aligned with events alongside internal and external parties.
- Handle event registrations, attendee communications, and onsite logistics ensuring excellent experiences.
- Conduct post-event assessments and suggest enhancements.
- Build and nurture relationships with members, partners, sponsors, speakers, and suppliers.
- Identify opportunities for sponsorships and partnerships supporting membership and events.
- Represent the organization at industry events and networking functions.
- Manage budgets related to membership and events, monitoring incomes and expenditures to meet financial goals.
- Oversee processing of invoices, sponsorship payments, and membership fees as needed.
- Work closely with marketing teams to boost the visibility of membership and events through engaging content across multiple channels.
- Ensure brand consistency in all communications and activities.
- Prepare comprehensive performance reports and maintain relevant policies and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, safeguarding, and data protection standards.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven track record managing membership programs, events, or customer engagement projects.
- Excellent project management and organizational capabilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to forge relationships with diverse stakeholders effectively.
- Experience managing budgets and juggling multiple projects.
- Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Office suite, and event management tools.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Capable of independent work and collaborating confidently within teams.

- Background in membership associations, professional bodies, non-profits, or charities.
- Knowledge of digital and email marketing platforms.
- Experience in managing sponsorships and corporate partnerships.

Additional Information
