About the Company
Our client is a fintech startup regulated by ADGM, developing a consumer product tailored for the UAE market. Supported by an experienced founding team and progressing towards regulatory licensing, they are expanding their initial commercial and marketing operations in preparation for the product launch.
Role Overview
The Marketing Coordinator will play a pivotal role in infusing an authentic Emirati perspective into the company’s product, brand communication, and audience engagement. This high-profile position requires strong bilingual copywriting abilities and involves close collaboration with the Founder to shape the brand's voice in the local market.
Key Duties
- Create, edit, and polish marketing content including app copy, website material, social media posts, and campaign collateral, ensuring it resonates culturally and maintains clarity for the UAE audience.
- Review and adapt content generated by internal teams or external agencies to optimize localization.
- Translate marketing and product-related texts, focusing on preserving message meaning and cultural relevance instead of literal wording.
- Support the preparation of app communications, notifications, and customer-facing messaging.
- Assist the public relations efforts via outreach to local media, influencers, and community groups.
- Manage translation and cultural validation of press materials targeted at local audiences.
- Identify culturally pertinent PR themes and marketing opportunities within the UAE market.
- Support the Founder during meetings with local stakeholders and partners by providing linguistic and cultural insight.
- Help prepare presentations and materials for meetings focused on the local market.
- Serve as the cultural advisor for marketing and product teams to ensure authenticity in campaigns and brand messaging.
- Offer strategic input on product naming, market positioning, and campaign development considering the local audience's perspective.
Candidate Requirements
- Professional experience of 2 to 5 years in public relations or a related domain; experience in startups or fintech sectors is a plus but not mandatory.
- Confidence and ability to represent the company effectively in community and stakeholder environments.
- Exceptional attention to detail combined with sensitivity to cultural nuances in communication.
