Position Overview
AmCham Abu Dhabi seeks an enthusiastic intern to bolster its marketing and communications initiatives. This role offers a part-time commitment of up to 20 hours weekly at the AmCham Abu Dhabi office, supplemented by occasional event-based responsibilities requiring on-site presence.
Work Location and Eligibility
Applicants must reside within the UAE and be capable of reliably commuting to Abu Dhabi. A valid UAE residency is mandatory; the organization does not provide visa sponsorship or relocation support.
Compensation
A modest monthly internship stipend will be granted.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and schedule engaging content across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and X.
- Share innovative ideas to enhance social media strategies and content planning.
- Capture and edit photographs and concise videos for events and digital channels.
- Create visual designs including social media graphics, invitations, flyers, and promotional collateral.
- Assist in event marketing, live coverage, and preparing post-event summaries.
- Contribute to newsletters, email promotions, website modifications, and monitoring related metrics.
- Maintain organized collections of photographic, video, template, and digital assets.
- Provide general support on various marketing and communication projects as required.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor's program in marketing, communications, media, business, or a related discipline.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
- Experience with producing social media content.
- Skilled in photographing and editing short video clips.
- Familiarity with design and editing tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, and Premiere Pro.
- Understanding of social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and X.
- Organized, dependable, attentive to details, and eager to learn.
- Able to handle tasks efficiently, adhere to deadlines, and collaborate within a team setting.
- Experience with WordPress, Mailchimp, or similar platforms is advantageous.
