Role Summary
NxtWave is looking for an MIS Executive specializing in Data and Payment Operations responsible for managing the entire process of payment calculations, reconciliations, and MIS reporting with high precision and compliance. This position focuses strictly on operational tasks ensuring accurate data handling and closure, while supporting statutory and partner reporting under supervisory management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly data reporting along with payment reconciliations and data consolidations.
- Accurately compute payments, commissions, and settlement amounts.
- Aggregate data from multiple internal and external sources into clear, consolidated reports.
- Conduct thorough reconciliations across various systems, partner data, and payment logs.
- Monitor pending issues, discrepancies, and closures; maintain logs documenting resolutions.
- Serve as the primary contact for executing MIS reporting for statutory and partner requirements.
- Maintain version controls, audit trails, and proper documentation standards.
- Prepare brief summaries and reports for partners, finance teams, and senior leadership.
Exclusions from Role
- This role does not involve financial planning, analysis, budgeting, or forecasting.
- Accounting, statutory filings, business analysis, strategy formulation, partner relations, or policy discussions are not part of this position.
- Decision making and escalation responsibilities are managed by supervisors, not this role.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Possess 2 to 3.5 years of experience in MIS, payments operations, heavy data management, or reconciliation-intensive roles.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel or Google Sheets functions such as pivot tables, lookups, and data validations with an emphasis on accuracy.
- Comfort with handling large datasets and working within strict deadlines.
- A detail-oriented, process-driven, and calm approach suited for startup environments.
Preferred Experience
- Background in EdTech, BFSI, FinTech, or Sales Operations is advantageous.
- Experience in MIS roles within Public–Private Partnership companies is a plus.
