Work Environment and Schedule

This full-time position involves working 40 hours weekly at Cygnet Elowen Hospital, supporting users dealing with eating disorders and personality disorders.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver a thorough maintenance and repair service.
Perform a variety of tasks encompassing basic joinery, plumbing, painting, and general building maintenance.
Maintain equipment, services, and vehicles to ensure functionality.
Adhere to safety protocols, report faulty equipment, and identify potential hazards.
Occasionally travel to other sites and be available on call outside regular hours for emergency repairs.
Conduct weekly fire alarm checks including fire exits, door retaining devices, and emergency lighting.

Candidate Profile

Demonstrated experience in a maintenance role or recent self-employed in relevant fields.
Willingness to travel and possession of a valid full driving license.
Proficient communication skills at multiple levels with an ability to document detailed and accurate maintenance records.
Competent in DIY and routine maintenance tasks.
Preferably has background in electrical, plumbing, or construction sectors.
Personable, responsible, cooperative team player with a positive demeanor.
