Role Overview

The Machine Operator is responsible for managing and overseeing machinery in the manufacturing process, ensuring efficient machine operation, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with safety protocols.

Primary Duties

• Configure and operate machinery following established guidelines.
• Continuously observe machine function and implement minor calibrations as necessary.
• Examine output to verify quality and communicate any defects encountered.
• Maintain cleanliness and uphold safety standards within the workspace.
• Document production metrics and promptly report operational problems.
• Adhere strictly to safety and operational procedures.

Candidate Requirements

• Completion of vocational training or equivalent practical experience, with up to two years relevant experience.
• Basic mechanical aptitude paired with strong attention to detail.
• Capability to follow detailed instructions and safety requirements rigorously.
• Good coordination skills combined with the physical endurance needed for the job.
• Enthusiasm for learning and willingness to collaborate within a team.
• Prior exposure to production tools and machinery is advantageous.
