Logistics Executive

Role Overview

The Logistics Executive will be responsible for overseeing consignments and shipment procedures, ensuring seamless coordination with vendors and customers, and maintaining accurate records to support logistics operations.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

• Organize and manage consignment details along with shipment documentation efficiently.
• Prepare and attach dispatch stickers and labels on consignments according to requirements.
• Liaise with transport vendors and drivers to arrange shipments.
• Communicate dispatch details to customers through email or WhatsApp.
• Obtain and verify dispatch-related customer information such as addresses, contacts, and GST details.
• Send assignment confirmations and shipment progress updates to customers via email.
• Keep precise stock records, managing both physical counts and system records.
• Manage the recording of inward and outward material movements.
• Monitor shipment status to guarantee delivery timelines are met.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support smooth logistics workflows.
• Maintain organized records and documentation required for audits and future reference.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Basic understanding of logistics and transportation processes.
• Experience or familiarity with stock management and handling inward/outward stock entries.
• Proficient in drafting professional emails and effective communication.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel for data entry and record management.
• Capability to coordinate activities with transporters and customers efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational abilities.

Preferred Candidate Attributes

• Graduate degree in any discipline.
• Experience in manufacturing or warehouse logistics considered advantageous.
• Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.
