About the Role
This role is presented on behalf of a partner organization responsible for managing applications and subsequent recruitment phases. The position calls for an accomplished Lead Project Manager residing in the United States to oversee large, complex technology rollouts. You will act as the main liaison for all project stages, orchestrating multidisciplinary teams, aligning with stakeholders, and ensuring projects meet timeline, scope, and budgetary requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Direct end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of intricate, large-scale technology implementation projects.
- Function as the principal customer interface throughout the project duration, ensuring effective communication, engaged stakeholders, and a positive customer journey.
- Create detailed project documentation including plans, timelines, executive updates, risk analyses, and post-project evaluations to maintain transparency and alignment.
- Mobilize and synchronize efforts across internal teams, external suppliers, and necessary resources to deliver outputs on schedule and within financial plans.
- Lead project meetings, log decisions and action points, and track progress to confirm that obligations are fulfilled.
- Proactively identify and manage risks, overseeing any scope adjustments through formal change control.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to set project aims, performance metrics, governance frameworks, and industry best practices.
- Make data-driven business decisions that underpin project success and satisfaction, escalating issues responsibly as needed.
- Spot potential avenues for business growth during implementation and coordinate with sales to foster future opportunities.
- Provide mentorship to junior project managers and champion continuous enhancement of project methodologies and workflows.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree or a minimum of five years' pertinent professional background in project management or technology implementation.
- Demonstrated leadership of numerous complex technology deployment projects, particularly involving enterprise infrastructure or managed services.
- Direct, hands-on experience with technologies such as DWDM, transport networks, MPLS, SD-WAN, managed services, voice communications, security solutions, Meraki, or comparable networking systems.
- Robust understanding of project management frameworks, risk mitigation, scheduling, resource coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
- Exceptional leadership, organization, negotiation, presentation, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Proficient multitasking and effective collaboration within diverse and customer-facing team environments.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 credentials are desirable.
- Preferred experience exceeds six years in project management roles.
