About the Role and Organization
The position involves providing childcare in the child's home. The employer, Ulata Käsi, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to establishing high standards for childcare services in Estonia. All their caregivers have undergone specialized training according to official childcare professional standards, ensuring clients receive quality care. Caregivers are motivated and guaranteed fair pay with monthly taxes paid. The organization collaborates with government and municipal bodies, as well as other associations.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide daily supervision and ensure the safety of the child at the client's residence.
- Engage the child in age-appropriate developmental activities.
- Organize meals and maintain hygiene routines.
- Follow the agreed daily schedule, including naps and outdoor time.
- Communicate with parents about the child's day and wellbeing as needed.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum one year of experience in a similar role.
- General secondary education.
- Certification or vocational qualifications in childcare.
- Proficiency in Estonian language, minimum B2 level (good), preferred C1 (very good).
- Willingness to commit to at least one year of cooperation.
- Passion for working with children and skills to support child development.
- At least 18 years old.
- Childcare professional qualification is mandatory.
Employment Details

- Compensation: Hourly wage, employment via work contract.
- Working hours: Full-time or part-time with negotiable workload.
- Schedule: Generally Monday to Friday, hours arranged with client.
