Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Kitchen Assistant to support our kitchen operations. This role involves assisting chefs with food preparation tasks, maintaining cleanliness and safety within the kitchen, and ensuring smooth workflow during busy periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist chefs by washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including dishwashing and sanitizing work surfaces.
• Adhere to food storage and hygiene protocols to meet health and safety regulations.
• Manage stock rotation and assist with incoming deliveries.
• Provide support to the kitchen team during high-demand service times.

Candidate Requirements

• A positive, eager-to-learn attitude.
• Capability to perform effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong teamwork and effective communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene; training will be offered if needed.
