Position Summary

We are seeking a Kennel Assistant to provide attentive, personalized care to pets in boarding and daycare, ensuring their needs for nutrition, exercise, and comfort are met. The role involves vigilant health monitoring, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the resort areas, managing supplies inventory, and supporting smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Offer tailored care for boarding and daycare animals, attending to feeding schedules and exercise routines to maintain their well-being.
• Observe animal behavior closely and report any health concerns promptly to the medical team.
• Ensure all kennel and outdoor areas are kept clean and sanitary to support a safe environment.
• Manage inventory of food and cleaning materials, working collaboratively to ensure all operational tasks are completed efficiently.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrate genuine compassion for animal welfare and strong commitment to their care.
• Reliable and diligent with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communicator possessing good judgment and resilience in stressful situations.
• Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting over 50 pounds.
• Previous kennel assistant experience is preferred.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including some weekends and holidays.
