Job Overview

We are hiring a Junior Graphic Designer on a 3-month contract basis to create graphics for educational video materials. This role involves visually bringing educational subjects to life through short videos aimed at learners aged 12 to 19. The position suits a recent graduate with a visual communications background and involves reporting to the Lead Designer as part of an experienced and supportive team.

Responsibilities & Requirements

The ideal candidate will hold a degree or certification in graphic design or visual communications and have experience producing captivating visuals. Key capabilities include conceptualizing ideas and translating them into easy-to-understand graphics for students, along with strong communication, collaboration, work ethic, and time management skills. Familiarity with motion graphics and Adobe After Effects, as well as experience with communication tools like MS Teams or Slack and educational content creation, are advantages.

Terms & Conditions

• Contract duration: 3 months
• Working hours: 37.5 per week, standard 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with possible flexibility
• Employment type: Full-time remote
• Compensation: €28,000 pro-rata
• Equipment: Candidates must use their personal laptop/device, monitor, licensed design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud), and have an appropriate home workspace

Hiring Process

1. Submit CV and portfolio link showcasing graphic design capabilities
2. Selected applicants will complete a roughly three-hour trial task to assess skills
3. Successful candidates from the trial will have a final Zoom interview to discuss work and team integration
