Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive Junior Financial Accountant to join our Hamburg team and drive impactful financial operations rather than just observe.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing accounts receivable processes diligently.
- Generating invoices accurately.
- Overseeing the entire debt collection process via telephone and email for trade fairs.
- Conducting regular meetings with sales teams and management to agree on actions and resolve queries or issues.
- Proactively identifying delinquent payers and recommending measures to ensure payment prior to events.
- Collaborating with various internal departments to address disputed invoices and secure payments.
- Providing consultation to clients and internal teams regarding invoice-related questions.
- Responding promptly and comprehensively to both client and internal requests.
- Processing refund requests in accordance with company procedures.
Candidate Profile
- Strong affinity for numbers paired with analytical and process-oriented thinking and behavior.
- Detail-oriented work ethic.
- Organized approach combined with creative solutions.
- Successful completion of commercial vocational training with relevant experience in financial accounting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Good familiarity with DATEV systems is advantageous, but not mandatory.
- Fluent in English.
