Junior Civil Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Civil Engineer with solid foundational knowledge in civil construction practices. The ideal candidate should be capable of reading and interpreting basic civil drawings and have an understanding of various construction materials and their practical applications.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate construction activities on site effectively.
• Manage manpower and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Carry out basic measurements and quantity calculations for project requirements.
• Identify and report any construction quality concerns promptly.
• Maintain clear communication to address challenges and facilitate problem-solving.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Thorough understanding of civil construction methodologies.
• Ability to comprehend and work with civil engineering drawings.
• Knowledge about construction materials and their appropriate applications.
• Competent in supervising teams and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Basic skills in measurement and quantity estimation.
• Good communication capabilities and analytical problem-solving aptitude.
• Some familiarity with MS Excel and site reporting tools would be beneficial.

Additional Information

This position is based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh and offers a monthly salary in the range of 12,000 to 18,000 INR.
