About the Team
Our Tax and Business Advisory group consists of nearly 500 experts nationwide specializing in tax and statutory accounting compliance. We provide tailored financial advice across various industries to simplify tax management and empower clients in strategic decision-making.
Role Overview
Tax can be intricate and challenging; your role will be to offer practical, business-oriented solutions. By helping clients navigate complex tax and accounting issues, you enable them to concentrate on running their successful enterprises.
The Central North Island offices currently have several key openings, including Tax Manager/Associate Director (Hamilton or Tauranga), Senior Tax Consultant (Hamilton or Tauranga), Senior Accountant (Tauranga), Associate Director - Tax & Business Advisory (Tauranga), Senior Accountant/Manager - Māori Sector (Rotorua), Intermediate Accountant - Māori Sector (Rotorua), and Intermediate Accountant (Hamilton). Qualifications & Expertise
- A Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Accounting, Tax, or Commercial Law
- Experience in professional services, preferably within a Chartered Accountants New Zealand (CA ANZ) firm
- Knowledge of tax and accounting principles, working towards or having completed a CA ANZ qualification or legal studies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with enthusiasm for client interaction
- Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple client projects simultaneously
- An ambition to advance your career in a dynamic, cooperative setting
