About the Internship
Join ansa capital management GmbH as an Investment Data Science Intern in Frankfurt, where you will engage with the Portfolio Management Team to apply machine learning and data science techniques to challenges in financial markets. This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to research projects focused on alpha generation and risk forecasting, gaining valuable experience in quantitative investment methodologies alongside seasoned professionals.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with portfolio managers on specialized research projects leveraging machine learning models for predicting alpha and forecasting risk.
- Bring innovation and a results-driven attitude to enhance investment strategies.
- Receive guidance, mentorship, and feedback from experienced managers throughout the internship period.
Candidate Profile
- Currently pursuing a degree in relevant fields such as Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Economics, Finance, or similar disciplines.
- Proficient in Python with experience in contemporary data science libraries and frameworks.
- Knowledge or experience in creating custom neural networks using PyTorch is beneficial.
- Strong enthusiasm for capital market research and financial data modeling.
- Availability for a 3 to 6-month onsite internship at the Frankfurt office.
- Basic proficiency in German is preferred.
