Intensivist

Position Overview

At Magical Sky, the Intensivist will be entrusted with delivering expert care to critically ill patients within the intensive care unit (ICU). This role involves comprehensive patient assessment, precise diagnosis, and management of complex medical conditions faced by critically ill adults.

Key Duties

• Lead interdisciplinary ICU rounds to develop and coordinate tailored care plans.
• Perform essential procedures and supervise ongoing monitoring of patient progress.
• Collaborate closely with pulmonologists, anesthesiologists, nursing teams, and other specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere rigorously to clinical guidelines and participate actively in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives related to critical care.
• Maintain thorough clinical documentation and contribute to multidisciplinary clinical decision-making.

Qualifications & Expertise

• Solid background in general medicine with demonstrated experience managing critically ill adult patients.
• Specialized knowledge in Critical Care Medicine, including ventilator management, hemodynamic assessment, and advanced life support techniques.
• Competence in pulmonology as it relates to ICU care, especially respiratory failure and complex pulmonary disorders.
• Understanding of anesthesiology principles and common procedures relevant to perioperative and critical care environments.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary ICU team, including nursing and allied health staff.
• Possession of board certification or equivalent credentials in Intensive Care, Internal Medicine, Anesthesiology, or closely related specialty fields.
• Valid medical license permitting practice in the jurisdiction; experience in tertiary or academic hospitals is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to perform under pressure, commitment to ethical medical practice, and a dedication to ongoing professional development.

This is a full-time position requiring physical presence on-site in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
