Role Overview
As part of our dynamic infrastructure team, you will engage in designing, deploying, and maintaining infrastructure automation. You will collaborate with engineering teams to improve internal architecture, enhance scalability, and ensure system resilience. This role offers opportunities to master cloud-native technologies, including service mesh, container platforms, and CI/CD systems.
Key Responsibilities & Opportunities
- Collaborate with engineering teams to pinpoint challenges and optimize infrastructure architecture for better scalability and robustness.
- Develop expertise in container orchestration, service mesh, and cloud automation tools.
- Support and enhance CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
- Contribute to cross-technology learning, becoming well-versed in all technology stacks used at Telnyx.
- Amplify product engineering capacity by acting as a technical multiplier.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum three years' experience in software development and infrastructure operations.
- Strong background managing Kubernetes clusters and developing applications, with preference for experience handling on-premises setups.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python or Golang.
- Advanced skills in configuration management using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform.
- Experience architecting and supporting CI/CD infrastructures.
- Familiarity with container technologies, Linux networking, and operating systems.
- Solid understanding of foundational networking protocols including DNS, HTTP, and TLS; knowledge of BGP is advantageous.
- Experience or familiarity with service discovery and service mesh architectures is highly desirable.
