Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Indian Cook to prepare sandwiches in accordance with established recipes and portion guidelines. The role requires maintaining consistency in flavor, quality, and presentation of each sandwich produced, ensuring a high standard of culinary output.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare sandwiches strictly following standard recipes and portion sizes.
- Ensure uniformity in taste, quality, and visual appeal for each sandwich.
- Prepare and replenish ingredients such as fresh vegetables, sauces, cheeses, spreads, and fillings continuously.
- Efficiently grill, toast, and assemble sandwiches as per demand.
- Maintain ingredient freshness and proper storage practices consistently.
- Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols at all times.
- Keep the sandwich preparation area clean, organized, and adequately stocked throughout shifts.
- Monitor stock levels and report any shortages promptly.
- Minimize food wastage by controlling portions accurately.
- Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstation after each shift.
Candidate Requirements
- Basic familiarity with sandwich preparation and safe food handling procedures.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-moving kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Meticulous attention to detail and consistency in food preparation.
- Being punctual, disciplined, and open to learning new skills.
- Previous work experience at a sandwich shop, café, or quick-service restaurant is desirable but not essential.
