Position Overview
The Human Resources Specialist role in Dusseldorf, Germany is a full-time position focused on efficiently supporting various aspects of HR operations. The position plays a vital role in managing employee lifecycles, enhancing employee engagement, and aiding the implementation of HR policies aligned with the organization's objectives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and execute onboarding and offboarding logistics, serving as the main contact for newly hired and departing employees.
- Offer advice and support to employees regarding HR inquiries, fostering wellbeing and engagement.
- Enhance performance and professional growth initiatives within the workforce.
- Assist with the rollout and adherence to HR policies and coordinate HR-related projects and surveys.
- Support managers in HR-related decision-making, address employee relations issues such as conflicts or disciplinary matters, and contribute to talent management strategies.
- Engage in HR projects aimed at improving processes and help communicate organizational changes effectively.
- Maintain HR documents including contracts and letters, oversee HR databases, and perform necessary administrative tasks.
Qualifications and Skills
- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.
- Several years of experience working in HR or a closely related field.
- Initial experience and understanding of German Labor Law.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a matrix organizational structure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal capabilities.
- Trusted with confidential information and able to maintain integrity.
- Approach work with organizational precision and attention to detail.
- Fluency in both English and German languages is essential.
