Job description

Overview

Nuvo Bus Transit Systems is seeking a seasoned and proactive Human Resources Manager to oversee comprehensive HR functions for more than 600 employees across multiple sites. The ideal candidate will have expertise in regulatory compliance, employee record management, payroll coordination, and manpower administration, while collaborating closely with the Principal Operator and internal teams.

Key Duties

  • Administer full-cycle HR operations for a workforce exceeding 600 personnel.
  • Maintain and regularly update complete employee documentation and personnel files.
  • Manage employee onboarding, documentation, joining procedures, and exit formalities.
  • Ensure prompt compliance and processing related to PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, and other statutory requirements.
  • Liaise effectively with consultants and government agencies regarding PF and ESIC matters.
  • Assist with payroll preparation by generating monthly payslips and verifying attendance, leave, overtime, and other payroll inputs.
  • Coordinate with the Principal Operator concerning manpower requisites, employee concerns, approvals, and documentation.
  • Handle everyday HR administrative tasks and resolve employee inquiries related to salary, attendance, PF, ESIC, and other HR topics.
  • Maintain accurate attendance, leave logs, and HR Management Information System reports.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate policies, labor legislation, and client specifications.
  • Support recruitment drives aligned with operational needs.
  • Facilitate audits by maintaining accurate HR records and statutory documents.
  • Produce periodic HR performance and compliance reports for management review.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in HR, ideally managing over 500 employees.
  • Comprehensive understanding of PF, ESIC, labor laws, payroll, and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in employee documentation and file management.
  • Competent in MS Excel, MS Office suite, and HR/payroll software applications.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.

  • Previous exposure to transportation, logistics, manufacturing, or manpower outsourcing sectors.
  • Exceptional organizational and documentation capabilities.
  • Ability to coordinate seamlessly with clients, principal operators, and government bodies.
  • Maintains high ethical standards and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee data.

Additional Information

This position demands an HR professional adept at independently managing large-scale manpower operations, ensuring statutory compliance, maintaining meticulous employee records, coordinating with principal operators, and guaranteeing smooth execution of daily HR operations.

Salary Range: INR 30,000 to 35,000 per month.
