Role Overview
The Human Resources Executive will work hand-in-hand with local retail management teams across regions to ensure alignment with corporate objectives, nurture a positive organizational culture, and enhance employee engagement. The role entails spearheading recruitment and HR initiatives, managing employee relations, and championing HR best practices effectively throughout the organization.
Core Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define recruitment needs and devise effective hiring strategies.
- Support employee onboarding and retention programs aimed at minimizing turnover.
- Regularly assess employee morale and recommend initiatives to boost engagement.
- Provide guidance on resolving employee relations challenges, including conflict resolution and performance issues.
- Conduct thorough investigations when required, ensuring fairness and adherence to compliance.
- Identify training requirements and coordinate with the HR team to design and implement development programs.
- Facilitate training sessions for both staff and leadership.
- Assist in managing performance appraisals with focus on goal setting, feedback, and improvement plans.
- Support succession planning efforts to nurture talent within the company.
- Collect and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and inform decision-making.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on key HR indicators at the regional level.
- Assist in change management initiatives to ensure smooth organizational transitions, addressing employee concerns proactively.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with legal standards and promote a safe, inclusive work environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline preferred.
- Certifications such as SHRM or HRCI are advantageous.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in human resources roles, especially in retail and multi-location settings.
- Strong passion for developing people with capabilities in coaching and inspiring teams.
- Comprehensive knowledge of retail/service industries with proven interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to spend significant time working on-site with store teams.
- Thorough understanding of employment laws and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to operate both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
- Proficient in using HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.
