Overview
We are collaborating with a private equity-backed, acquisition-focused organization in search of a Human Resources Director to lead and develop the people function amidst an exciting growth phase. This role offers a hands-on leadership opportunity tailored for professionals passionate about establishing structure, refining processes, and supporting a multi-entity company through ongoing acquisitions and integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts and manage relationships with external search agencies.
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding procedures, employee relations, and performance management systems.
- Manage employee benefits programs, including 401(k), leave policies, and ensure HR compliance.
- Maintain and update HR policies, employee handbook, and HR information systems.
- Collaborate with leadership on organizational design and strategic workforce planning.
- Direct the human side of acquisitions encompassing onboarding, benefits consolidation, policy harmonization, and change management.
- Work towards standardizing HR initiatives and develop scalable HR infrastructure across various business units.
Preferred Experience and Background
- Minimum of 8 years in progressive HR leadership roles.
- Proven experience in private equity-backed or acquisition-driven, multi-entity companies.
- Strong expertise in HR operations, employee relations, compliance, and talent acquisition.
- Experience with acquisition integrations, benefits consolidation, or involvement in PEO/HRIS implementations highly desirable.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment requiring the creation and enhancement of HR processes.
