Role Overview

As a Home Health Aide, you will offer personalized care and companionship to residents, assisting them with everyday tasks to improve their comfort and wellbeing. We look for individuals who combine professional aptitude with kindness and dedication to positively influence the patients' lives.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of a high school diploma or an equivalent certificate is generally preferred.
• Completion of a certified Home Health Aide training program may be mandatory depending on jurisdictional requirements.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Compassion, patience, and the ability to safely assist with lifting and transferring clients.

Experience

• While previous paid experience is not mandatory, it may provide an advantage.
• Training programs are often open to candidates without prior background, equipping them with necessary competencies.

Working Conditions

• The role primarily involves delivering care at patients' homes, supporting individuals of various ages including elderly, disabled, or convalescing persons.
• Travel between clients' residences is required, alongside collaboration with healthcare professionals such as nurses and therapists.

Working Hours and Location

The position operates from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, based in Henderson, Auckland.
