About the Role
RI Track Spray, a leading name in rail vegetation management for over 25 years, is seeking Track Vehicle Operators who enjoy solving problems. As a Track Spray Technician, your role transcends simple weed-spraying — you actively maintain the safety and upkeep of Australia's rail corridors. The position involves operating specialized machinery, traveling extensively across Western Australia and other states, and working independently in varying environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate specialized rail track vehicles for vegetation control maintenance.
- Drive long distances across diverse Australian regions, ensuring work is completed efficiently.
- Work autonomously with a strong focus on safety compliance and protocols.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Hold a current HR Class Driver’s Licence.
- Possess a Construction White Card and be able to successfully pass a Cat 1 Rail Medical examination, which includes drug and alcohol testing.
- Have a valid RIW card; additional certifications such as ARC Infrastructure and PTA accreditation are advantageous.
- Comfortable using digital tools like tablets for reporting and database management.
- Physically fit to conduct outdoor work and capable of handling extended driving duties.
