Besides emergency services, they provide patient transfer, clinical communication via 111 calls, event medical support, and community lifesaving CPR through The Lloyd Morrison Foundation Heartbeat Programme. Role Overview

The Heartbeat Training Manager is charged with leading the community CPR and AED education efforts under the Lloyd Morrison Foundation Heartbeat programme. Key responsibilities include overseeing the planning, scheduling, resourcing, and delivery of regional training sessions, supporting promotional activities, and managing a team of Heartbeat tutors through recruitment, training, and coordination. This role collaborates with the Heartbeat AED Manager to ensure seamless experience for individuals and organizations who acquire AEDs post-training.

The Lloyd Morrison Foundation Initiative

The foundation facilitates free training in CPR and AED use, funded by a cornerstone partner and the foundation to equip the region’s residents with lifesaving skills. Impact data highlights that nearly 69% of cardiac arrests occur at home in the region. Trained bystander CPR more than doubles survival chances nationally, while AED use prior to ambulance arrival increases survival odds by 2.5 times.

Candidate Requirements and Desired Experience

The successful candidate will have a mix of healthcare or educational background and significant training experience. Strong communication, presentation, organizational aptitude, proficiency with MS Office, program management, and leadership abilities are essential. Candidates should have at least three years of combined education and leadership experience and hold a full, clean driver’s license. Preferred qualifications or experiences include:

• Health-related sector experience, particularly in first aid or cardiac care
• Resuscitation Council Level 7 Certification
• EMT Level 5 credential or willingness to train as an Event Medic/First Responder
• Experience within health-oriented non-profit organizations
