About the Role

As a Health Data Analyst within the Disney Experiences segment, you will support Health Services by implementing and maintaining health technology systems and analyzing data from multiple health platforms. This position reports to the Manager of Health Systems and Metrics and is a project-based assignment expected to conclude by March 27, 2027, with no guarantee of permanent employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide application support for electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Manage user accounts and maintain application governance, overseeing operating protocols.
- Configure applications to align with evolving business requirements.
- Support health technology systems, focusing on Disney Cruise Line applications.
- Collect and analyze data through observations, interviews, and surveys to inform health initiatives.
- Create visual presentations to convey study outcomes to organizational leaders effectively.
- Conduct routine system audits and generate daily, weekly, and quarterly reports.
- Develop reporting tools and financial models to support decision-making.
- Assist in designing studies on population health to identify prevention strategies and assess intervention success.
- Contribute to health program development by engaging in planning, tracking progress, and analyzing relevant data.
- Design, manage, and evaluate study protocols, including health questionnaires and sample selection.
- Research and develop methodologies and tools for study design, data analysis, and presentation of results.
- Offer data insights and consultation services to internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Participate in interdisciplinary initiatives spanning extended periods.
- Support strategic health-related projects and foster collaborative relationships with team members and stakeholders.
- Drive continuous project improvements through innovation and adherence to timelines and milestones.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency with MySQL, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Access), and data visualization/analytics platforms such as Tableau and EpiInfo.
- Strong skills in data analysis, with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for effective collaboration across departments.
- Experience working cross-functionally with multiple business units.
- Adaptability and consistent capability to meet project deadlines.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced critical thinking and attention to detail.
- Basic foundation in mathematics and statistics.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in health or technology sectors.
- Previous involvement with electronic health records or health-related applications.
Educational Background
- Mandatory: Bachelor’s degree.
- Preferred: Master’s degree.
Compensation Details
The salary range for this position in Lake Buena Vista, FL is $75,700 to $101,400 annually. The exact compensation will be influenced by internal pay structures, geographic location, candidate experience, skills, and knowledge.
