Role Responsibilities
- Act as a key extension of the CEO by managing communications, decisions, and various workflows, allowing the CEO to prioritize high-impact areas.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and executive leadership to steer strategic priorities and ensure their effective execution, stepping in to lead initiatives as needed.
- Oversee cross-departmental project management for critical initiatives from inception through completion, ensuring the CEO remains informed without being involved in day-to-day details.
- Manage and triage incoming CEO requests and open issues by filtering, delegating, or resolving them independently.
- Establish and document company-wide operational processes to enhance efficiency and team alignment, reducing repetitive decision-making involving the CEO.
- Serve as a communication nexus to guarantee clarity and coordination across departments, acting as the initial point of contact to filter matters before escalation to the CEO.
- Proactively identify operational challenges and implement solutions directly rather than escalating issues.
- Monitor progress against company objectives, KPIs, and strategic goals, highlighting risks and adjusting course with minimal CEO involvement.
- Conduct research and analysis to support strategic decision-making, partnerships, and growth prospects, providing actionable recommendations.
- Offer trusted strategic and operational counsel to the CEO, proactively updating on important matters before needing to be prompted.
Qualifications
- Three to six years of demonstrable experience in high-growth startups, operations, consulting, or strategy roles.
- Exceptional written communication and organizational capabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude capable of distilling complex data into clear insights.
- Outstanding project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
- High level of business acumen and confidence to make decisions independently within ambiguous scenarios.
- Proven track record as a trusted senior leadership delegate accountable for results.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that foster collaboration across various teams and hierarchical levels.
- Strategic mindset with a proactive, action-oriented approach focused on problem resolution rather than identification.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to excellence in operations and accuracy.
