Head of Facilities Management

About the Role

UCC Holding Group based in Doha, Qatar is seeking a seasoned Facilities Management Projects Director. This senior leadership position demands overseeing the entire corporate Facilities Management strategy, spearheading office fit-out and workplace transformation initiatives, managing HSE and Security functions, and guaranteeing operational excellence alongside world-class workplace services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the corporate Facilities Management strategy along with annual operational plans.
• Execute office fit-out, relocation, and workplace transformation projects from initial concept through to final delivery.
• Oversee contracts related to Hard and Soft FM services, manage service providers, enforce SLAs, and monitor vendor performance.
• Ensure comprehensive oversight of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and physical security across all corporate properties.
• Manage financial elements including budgets, CAPEX, OPEX, procurement processes, and commercial outcomes.
• Build and direct effective Facilities, HSE, and Security teams.
• Liaise with landlords, consultants, contractors, and government entities to maintain operational excellence and compliance.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 12 years of experience in Facilities Management, with a minimum of 5 years holding senior leadership roles.
• Previous work experience in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) is mandatory; experience in Qatar is highly preferred.
• Proven track record managing major corporate office fit-out or workplace relocation projects successfully.
• Professional certifications such as IFMA (CFM/FMP), IWFM, or NEBOSH are strongly preferred.
• Exceptional commercial insight, stakeholder relationship management, contract supervision, and leadership skills.
