Role Overview

As a Hardware Powder Coat Operator at APL Window Solutions in Waikato, New Zealand, you will contribute to customer satisfaction by maintaining high standards in powder coating operations. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized team area after each shift, ensuring all tools are returned to their assigned places.
• Keep the Tooling and Components Performance Leader updated on daily activities and any operational issues encountered.
• Be prepared to take on a hands-on role within the team when necessary to support operations.
• Foster strong relationships between APL Manufacturing and sister companies as well as suppliers to provide exceptional customer service.
• Make decisions within operational expenditure limits to address and resolve problems efficiently.
• Ensure reliability and accuracy of information within the department.
• Meet production deadlines consistently.
• Ensure produced parts conform to quality standards and customer specifications.

Health and Safety

• Understand and strictly follow APL Manufacturing's health and safety policies.
• Wear necessary personal protective equipment as required.
• Continuously inspect the work environment for hazards and take prompt corrective measures.
• Report all accidents and near misses immediately.
