Hand Stone Polisher

Job Overview

This position requires working on site to polish and shape stone products. Candidates will be responsible for operating specialized cutting and polishing machinery, performing quality checks, and ensuring machinery maintenance. The workplace environment includes noise, dust, and wet conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Use blade or wire saws to cut stone blocks to required sizes
• Conduct quality control inspections of stone products
• Operate grinding and polishing machines to shape stone surfaces and achieve smooth finishes
• Adjust machines as necessary during operations
• Drill holes into stone blocks or slabs based on specifications
• Carry out routine machine maintenance
• Load and unload materials onto machines

Requirements and Qualifications

• Prior experience in this field is beneficial but not mandatory
• Forklift Operator Certification is required
• Must have valid driver's license and own transportation
• Ability to perform repetitive, physically demanding tasks and safely handle heavy loads over 45 kg
• Manual dexterity, excellent hand-eye coordination, and keen attention to detail
• Capable of standing for long durations and working efficiently under pressure with strict deadlines
• Steel-toed safety boots are mandatory
• Must be accurate, possess excellent verbal communication skills, and demonstrate strong teamwork abilities
