Position Overview

We are seeking a committed Full Time Grounds & Maintenance Officer for our South West Rocks Holidays location. Reporting directly to the Park Manager, you'll be instrumental in preserving the park’s aesthetic appeal, safety, and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring every guest enjoys a spotless and well-kept surroundings daily.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive garden upkeep including pruning, weeding, fertilizing, replanting, mulching, hedging, mowing, and edging to maintain healthy and attractive grounds.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment by removing debris, handling waste collection, spraying for pest and weed control, and ensuring pool areas (when applicable) are well-kept.
  • Conduct routine repairs and maintenance on various assets such as tools, equipment, lighting, fixtures, fencing, BBQs, and basic painting tasks.
  • Address maintenance requests from residents and guests promptly, assess contractor work quality, and escalate issues to trades personnel as necessary.
  • Support overall site presentation and security by reporting damage or incidents, and maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.

  • A proactive individual with a keen eye for detail delivering consistently high standards of work.
  • Dependable, safety-conscious, and honest, with a hands-on approach to physically demanding tasks.
  • Effective communicator who utilizes appropriate channels to ensure smooth collaboration and customer interaction.
  • Experienced in grounds maintenance with practical knowledge of relevant safety procedures, chemicals, equipment, and systems related to pool or site maintenance.
  • Possession of a valid “C” class driver license is mandatory.
