Grocery Associate

Overview

Joining Walmart Canada as a Grocery Associate offers an excellent opportunity to build your expertise in the retail sector. In this role, you will deliver outstanding customer service while upholding Walmart's core values, manage and organize the grocery department, assist in restocking items, and help drive sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain organized zoning within the grocery department.
• Manage stock rotation and monitor product expiration dates.
• Ensure all merchandise is accurately labeled and priced.
• Comply with food safety, handling, sanitation, and cleaning standards.
• Follow proper processes for ordering, clearance, pricing adjustments, labeling, and flagging products.
• Keep the department fully stocked and prepared for customers.
• Observe health and safety regulations diligently.
• Stock products, perform downstocking when necessary, protect merchandise, and complete modular setups including flexible and new shelf cap arrangements.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $17.75.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
