Job Summary
The role involves supporting the management and execution of grant programs by conducting field assessments of beneficiaries, preparing necessary studies, and providing recommendations based on thorough analysis to ensure equitable and efficient distribution of support according to organizational policies.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct field visits to applicants seeking support to verify and validate the submitted information.
- Assess beneficiaries' social and economic conditions directly in the field.
- Document visits with photographs, notes, and detailed reports.
- Collect and analyze data to prepare comprehensive case studies, considering social, economic, and health aspects.
- Utilize approved assessment models and criteria to classify cases by priority and eligibility.
- Develop complete case studies including suitable recommendations.
- Write periodic reports on cases reviewed and submit analytical reports to the grant management to assist decision-making.
- Ensure all procedures and outcomes are documented in the designated systems.
- Contribute to preparing performance and achievement reports for grant programs.
- Coordinate internally with departments such as social affairs and finance.
- Monitor cases after grant disbursement to ensure desired impact is achieved.
- Continuously update beneficiary data.
- Respond to beneficiary inquiries and provide required awareness sessions.
- Adhere strictly to organizational policies and procedures related to grants.
- Maintain confidentiality of beneficiary information.
- Observe professional and ethical conduct during fieldwork.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in social work, grant management, or fieldwork.
- Preferably experienced in the nonprofit sector.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and report writing capabilities.
- Proficient in conducting field assessments and evaluations.
- Adept at engaging with diverse social groups.
- Proficiency in computer applications, especially Excel and Word.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Politeness and ability to build trust with beneficiaries.
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to perform fieldwork and travel as needed.
- Possession of a driving license is preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure.
