Role Overview

The Graduate Software Engineer designs, develops, troubleshoots, and debugs software programs, contributing to enhancements and new product implementations. This includes working on operating systems, compilers, networking utilities, databases, and internet tools. The role also involves determining hardware compatibility and influencing hardware design decisions. As a member of the project team, the engineer will coordinate with internal and external development partners to deliver reliable, cost-effective, and quality solutions for products of low to moderate complexity. The position primarily supports coding, testing, debugging, and software system design functions.

Key Responsibilities

Implement software changes, enhancements, and updates across various subsystems such as operating systems, compilers, networks, utilities, databases, and internet tools.
Execute established test plans and protocols for assigned code segments, identifying, logging, and resolving issues.
Build understanding and collaboration with internal teams and outsourced partners involved in software system design and development.
Participate actively as part of a software engineering project team to develop dependable and cost-efficient solutions.

Educational Qualifications and Experience

Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent field.
Experience typically ranges from 0 to 2 years.

Skills and Knowledge

Familiarity or experience with software systems design tools and programming languages.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Understanding of designing software systems compatible with multiple platforms.
Knowledge of basic coding, debugging, and testing methodologies.
Good command of written and verbal communication in English as well as local languages.
