GoAnywhere MFT Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced GoAnywhere MFT Engineer based in Pune, Maharashtra with substantial expertise in enterprise infrastructure and Managed File Transfer solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background with GoAnywhere MFT administration, implementation, and associated enterprise technologies.

Responsibilities

• Administer and implement GoAnywhere MFT including installation, configuration, migration, and upgrades.
• Plan and execute migration from legacy MFT platforms ensuring minimal disruption.
• Manage high availability, disaster recovery setups, and clustering environments to ensure continuous service.
• Maintain Windows and Linux servers, including VMware virtualization environments.
• Utilize cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to support infrastructure needs.
• Work with databases including SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL for integration and data management.
• Configure and maintain enterprise security technologies such as Active Directory, LDAP, DNS, SSL/TLS, SSH, PGP, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Develop and maintain scripts using REST APIs, JSON, XML, PowerShell, Bash, or Python to automate workflows and monitor systems.
• Apply and leverage enterprise monitoring and logging tools for system health and performance tracking.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely related field.
• 8 to 15 years of professional experience in enterprise infrastructure, integration, or Managed File Transfer solutions.
• A minimum of 5 years’ direct hands-on experience managing GoAnywhere MFT platforms.
• Demonstrated skills in GoAnywhere MFT installation, workflow development, and troubleshooting.
• Strong foundation in enterprise networking and systems administration.
• Proficient in Windows and Linux administration plus virtualization technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud services and database platforms.
• Experience with security infrastructure including directories, certificates, and encryption protocols.
• Strong scripting capabilities in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and documentation skills.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Experience with IBM Sterling, Axway SecureTransport, MOVEit, Globalscape EFT, or Connect:Direct platforms.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
• Familiarity with configuration management and automation tools like Ansible or Terraform.
• Understanding of ITIL methodology and DevOps practices.
• Certification in GoAnywhere MFT or similar integration platforms is advantageous.
