Role Overview
Seeking a meticulous and strategic Global Sourcing Manager experienced in textiles/fabrics, reporting to the Director of Sourcing. This role oversees worldwide supply sourcing across various categories, focusing on quality and cost-efficiency. Collaboration with vendors, designers, merchants, and planners will ensure the delivery of functionally excellent and aesthetically pleasing products, while fostering strong vendor relationships and operational excellence.
Location: Culver City, CA; onsite Monday through Thursday.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers and manufacturing partners aligned with Parachute’s quality, design, and sustainability standards.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with global vendors to optimize production capacity, lead times, and flexibility.
- Negotiate pricing, contractual terms, and conditions balancing cost and product integrity.
- Coordinate with Design and Product Development teams to allocate vendors ensuring compliance and quality benchmarks are met.
- Manage timely sample development and production readiness according to seasonal schedules, monitoring progress against milestones.
- Oversee regulatory testing requirements and compliance reporting related to assigned developments.
- Administer product costing, margins, and sourcing strategies to achieve financial objectives.
- Provide insights on sourcing trends, material costs, and potential risks affecting profitability.
- Handle packaging needs including hangtags, cards, ribbons, wraps, and boxes with domestic and international suppliers.
- Manage labeling requirements associated with certifications and approve terms of purchase (TOPs).
- Track vendor certifications such as social compliance and quality, ensuring timely renewals and updated operations guidelines.
- Aggregate feedback from cross-departmental teams to assess supplier performance, delivering quarterly performance reports.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related disciplines.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in sourcing, vendor management, or supply chain roles, preferably within home, apparel, or consumer goods sectors.
- Strong familiarity with global sourcing processes, textile manufacturing, and cost negotiation techniques.
- Proficient in key performance indicators (KPIs), analytics, and tools such as Excel/Google Sheets including PivotTables and advanced lookup functions.
- Proven experience managing international vendor relationships effectively.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational capabilities.

Compensation Details
The base salary range for this position is $95,000 to $110,000, subject to variation based on candidate expertise, qualifications, and geographical location. Additional incentives may include bonuses or stock options.
