The Global Product Specialist will take charge of product management leadership to drive growth and profitability of Vertiv's Busbar product line. This role involves close collaboration with Sales, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Service teams to introduce new offerings and manage the existing product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement comprehensive product lifecycle management strategies, covering product launches, extensions, engineered orders, and end-of-life phases.
• Develop and sustain business cases from ideation through launch stages.
• Analyze market trends, demand factors, customer needs, and competitor activity.
• Translate market insights into innovative product strategies and precise market requirements.
• Ensure availability and accuracy of all customer-facing documentation and marketing materials.
• Provide offering details to customers, sales personnel, customer service, and application engineering teams.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, product demonstrations, and sales enablement tools.
• Track and analyze sales performance metrics post-launch.
• Collaborate with Marketing to design and execute demand generation programs.
• Oversee pricing strategies, discounting, product profitability, and volume forecasting.
• Help resolve product-related issues concerning delivery, quality, and inventory.
• Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.

Qualifications and Knowledge Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline; an advanced degree is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Busbar Trunking systems and related standards such as IEC 61439 and UL 857.
• Ability to rapidly build cross-functional and international collaborative relationships.
• Strong skills in problem-solving, data analysis, and project management.
• Process-oriented with a proven track record of achieving results.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and other business productivity applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Preferred Experience

• Background in electrification, data center infrastructure, or commercial/industrial electrical systems.
• Experience with cost reduction programs, make-vs-buy analyses, and supply chain optimization.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies impacting power distribution, such as AI-driven applications and energy transition trends.

Additional Information

• Willingness to travel domestically within Ireland and internationally to other Vertiv sites as required.
