Opportunity Overview

The Global Early Careers Program Manager will be pivotal in steering our premier Power+ Graduate Program and broadening our early careers initiatives globally. This role focuses on delivering outstanding experiences to emerging talent, boosting business expansion, and growing a robust global talent pipeline through a variety of programs such as graduate schemes, internships, apprenticeships, and university collaborations.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the worldwide expert and lead for the Power+ Graduate Program, offering guidance to HR teams, managers, and stakeholders internationally.
- Ensure the program's activities meet deadlines, remain within scope, and align with global standards and governance.
- Coordinate and lead Regional Program Coordinators to promote collaboration, share best practices, and maintain program quality consistently across regions.
- Develop and manage the global Early Careers strategy, aligning talent acquisition and development efforts with business needs and workforce planning.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and leadership to build sustainable talent pipelines through various early-career initiatives.
- Oversee global campus engagement and employer branding to enhance Hitachi Energy’s stature among students and early-career professionals.
- Establish and sustain strategic partnerships with universities and educational institutions to attract diverse talent and address future workforce demands.
- Design comprehensive development journeys for early-career individuals, including onboarding, mentoring, educational experiences, networking, and clear career progression frameworks.
- Continuously improve program frameworks, processes, and experiences to boost quality, scalability, and participant involvement.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and external benchmarks to introduce innovative practices that improve program effectiveness.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within all early-career programs to ensure fair opportunity access and diverse recruitment.
- Drive ongoing innovation through new tools, ideas, and methods that enhance engagement and operational productivity.
- Lead and participate in global HR and strategic early talent projects supporting the broader organizational people agenda.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, Organizational Psychology, or related disciplines.
- More than five years of relevant experience in early careers management, graduate programs, talent acquisition, university relations, or HR program management.
- Track record of managing complex international programs involving diverse stakeholders and functions.
- Proven expertise in creating and deploying initiatives that solidify early talent pipelines and succession frameworks.
- Strong proficiency with data analytics, reporting, and KPI management to guide decisions and evaluate program success.
- Outstanding skills in stakeholder communication, facilitation, and influencing within a matrix environment.
- Capability to work autonomously while operating effectively within a large, globally dispersed organization.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

The minimum starting gross annual salary for this position, based in the specified location, is 52700 euros. The applicable collective bargaining agreement is Metalmeccanico. Final compensation will be determined based on candidate’s location, skills, experience, and internal pay scales. Role availability may span multiple locations, with salary details tailored accordingly.
