About Forestry England and the Role

Role Overview
The Forest Craftsperson will assist the beat forester in managing and shaping land holdings through various forest operations and inspections. You will handle practical tasks as they arise and uphold our strong health and safety culture, embodying the principle of ‘look out and look after’ in all work performed.
Work Location
Your base will be Forestry England's depot located in Falstone, NE48 1BB, United Kingdom.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary of £26,959.
- Permanent contract with 37 hours per week.

Application and Selection Process
Candidates must submit a 200-word summary of their relevant experience and career history, along with a personal statement of up to 500 words. The selection involves assessment of experience, technical skills, and strength-based interview questions focusing on decision making, teamwork, and service management.
