Forecourt Attendant

Role overview

This part-time forecourt role is based in Castletroy, Limerick. The position focuses on keeping the outdoor forecourt area presentable, safe, and free from obstacles while supporting customers and carrying out day-to-day site duties.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, orderly forecourt with no litter or safety risks.
• Wash customers’ vehicles as required.
• Operate the on-site baler to compress cardboard and plastic packaging from the store.
• Replenish solid fuel stock such as coal and wood.
• Bring outdoor display stands, such as the flower stand, inside the store each evening before closing.
• Help customers retrieve products stored outside the shop.
• Empty all external bins at night.
• Carry out and log a Health & Safety inspection of the forecourt every 30 minutes.

Candidate profile

The ideal applicant will communicate well, pay close attention to detail, and stay organised and adaptable. The role suits someone who can work on their own initiative, contribute positively in a team, and remain customer-focused in a busy environment. Prior customer service experience is beneficial.
