About the Role

Join the Nando's PERi-PERi team as a Food Runner, playing a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience by ensuring timely and accurate delivery of orders to guests. This opportunity offers both part-time and full-time hours within a friendly and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders promptly from kitchen to guests while announcing the dishes.
• Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor while continuously cleaning, setting, and resetting tables.
• Manage assigned stations, tables, and side duties efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to exceed guest expectations and uphold the Nando’s experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to follow directions and work cooperatively in a team setting.
• Capacity to remain composed and effective under pressure.
• Dedication to high-quality customer service and familiarity with food and beverage products.
• Understanding of safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
• Basic proficiency in English and professional communication skills.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift items up to 15 lbs repeatedly and independently.
• Capability to stand, walk, and climb stairs while carrying food or dishes throughout work shifts.
• Comfortable standing or walking for durations of 8 to 10 hours per day.
• Manual dexterity including hand-eye coordination, reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting overhead.
• Willingness and ability to climb stairs in multi-level restaurant locations.
