Role Overview

We are seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our EMEA headquarters in Frankfurt. This role involves supporting budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes while collaborating closely with commercial and finance teams across the region. The position also emphasizes data management, automation efforts, and advancing business intelligence solutions to optimize business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Provide financial analysis, insights, and decision-making support to business partners
Work jointly with the global finance team on budgeting, forecasting, and planning activities
Conduct sales analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and variance reviews
Create and maintain Power BI dashboards for financial and operational insights
Extract, connect, and analyze data derived from ERP systems and other multiple data sources
Build and sustain organized datasets using Power Query, SQL, Microsoft Fabric, and similar tools
Guarantee accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across systems and reporting outputs
Innovate automation and enhance reporting procedures continuously
Translate complex datasets into tangible business insights for stakeholders
Document reporting methodologies, data flows, underlying assumptions, and maintain report inventories

Candidate Requirements

Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, or a closely related discipline
Preferably a minimum of 2 years' experience in finance, FP&A, controlling, or data analytics
Strong analytical mindset coupled with effective problem-solving abilities
Sound comprehension of financial principles and business performance factors
Practical experience with Power BI, Power Query, SQL, Microsoft Fabric, or comparable tools
Exceptional attention to detail and capability to manage extensive datasets
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Organized and methodical approach to work
Fluent in English (C1 level) and proficient in German (B2 level)
