- Oversee accounts receivable and membership billing activities, including invoicing, payment reminders, reconciliation of billing data, onboarding payment details, and revenue trend analysis.
- Process payments for contractors and support payroll activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, timesheet accuracy, and maintaining contractor and employee records.
- Prepare financial reporting packages with variance analysis for leadership; develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning.
- Track key performance indicators related to revenue, costs, utilization, and expenses; manage the annual budgeting process and support strategic financial decisions through modeling and analysis.
- Operate accounting software (QuickBooks) and practice management platforms; streamline financial workflows and develop real-time reporting dashboards.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to financial and privacy regulations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field; alternatively, diploma/certificate with equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years in accounting or bookkeeping, ideally with experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or FP&A, preferably in healthcare or membership-based sectors.
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online and experienced in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and basic financial reporting.
- Skilled in financial modeling, variance analysis, and communicating financial data to non-financial audiences.
- Familiar with payroll and contractor payment processes including compliance with CRA regulations.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, visualization, and financial modeling.
- Highly detail-oriented, able to manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment with discretion in handling sensitive information.
