Job description
About Water & Sanitation for Urban Populations (WSUP)
WSUP is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering inclusive and resilient urban water and sanitation systems via innovative practices, partnerships, and policy advocacy. Founded in 2005 to address the challenges of growing cities struggling to provide clean water and sanitation, WSUP ensures low-income urban communities can access essential water and sanitation services.
We work by supporting local service providers to enhance their capabilities, expand infrastructure, and attract funding to make water and sanitation services both financially sustainable and accessible to vulnerable urban populations. Additionally, we collaborate with governments and regulatory bodies to establish an environment conducive to sustainable solutions.
As a recognised global leader in urban water and sanitation, WSUP actively shares evidence-based knowledge and scalable innovations to promote systemic transformation. Operating in seven countries across sub-Saharan Africa and Asia, and with a UK-based headquarters, the organization has facilitated improved water, sanitation, and hygiene services for over 42 million people to date.
Positions for this role are available in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and Accra, Ghana.
