Role Summary

We are seeking a Finance Officer based in Harare for a full-time, on-site position. The incumbent will oversee daily financial operations, including the preparation and review of financial statements, maintaining accurate accounting records, and managing accounts payable and receivable. The role supports budgeting, cash flow monitoring, forecasting, financial planning, and resource allocation. Additionally, the role involves preparing financial reports for internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, assisting audits, and collaborating with other departments to provide financial insights with clear communication.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in finance and financial reporting with experience in preparing and interpreting financial statements.
• Strong analytical capabilities for budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and supporting decision-making processes.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey financial information to non-financial audiences.
• Skilled in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling.
• Holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; professional certifications like ACCA, CPA, or CIMA are advantageous.
• Proven experience in finance or accounting roles, especially within corporate or dynamic work environments.
• Detail-oriented with high integrity, capable of managing deadlines and multiple tasks efficiently.
• Familiarity with financial regulations, tax standards, and recognized best practices in financial control and reporting.
