Role Overview

The Finance Analyst I2P role within Syngenta's Global Business Services offers the chance to contribute to their digital transformation efforts. This position combines standardized global processes with exposure to unique country-specific requirements. Candidates will work with advanced technologies and collaborate internationally to provide outstanding services to internal clients and external suppliers. The role is ideal for those eager to excel in process excellence within a dynamic setting and make meaningful contributions.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the complete Procure to Pay cycle, including invoice handling, payment processing, travel and expense (T&E) claims, and supplier statement reconciliation, while consistently meeting daily goals and service level agreements (SLAs).
Adhere strictly to global standardized processes and detailed desktop procedures to produce precise and high-quality outputs autonomously.
Address queries from both internal clients and external suppliers via telephone and email, collaborating with senior analysts and team leads as needed.
Track and uphold continuous compliance with SLAs, working closely with Team Leads to implement solutions when performance issues occur.
Identify and advocate for process enhancements to boost efficiency and quality within the P2P function.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in any field or a postgraduate degree.
2-3 years of direct experience in Procure to Pay operations within global multinationals or Business Process Outsourcing environments.
Proficient with SAP ERP for transactional processing.
Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable activities including invoice posting, payments, and vendor master data management.
Demonstrated expertise in handling client inquiries with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Understanding of accounting standards and tax regulations such as Withholding Tax (WHT) and Goods and Services Tax (GST) relevant to P2P.
Capable of working independently, meeting deadlines, and maintaining compliance with internal controls.

Desired Qualifications

Experience operating within global standardized and desktop procedures in shared service centers.
Strong analytical capabilities to detect trends, predict challenges, and devise proactive solutions.
Familiarity with digital Procure to Pay technologies and automation solutions.
Experience collaborating remotely with stakeholders across various countries.
Participation in ongoing process improvement and optimization initiatives.
